Maxly’s birthday is exactly one week before Christmas. Between Santa and all of her family and friends, she’s set, I promise you that.
In lieu of gifts for her birthday party, our little family wanted to gather food, treats, toys, hay, towels, blankets, paper towels, dog beds, litter boxes, cat litter, trash bags and whatever else you can think of, and donate them to our local humane society! To show our love and support for animals, we gifted the donations to the Newington Humane Society, a place very near and very dear to our hearts (and the place where a few of our own fur babies originated from).
It was a humbling and fun experience, one we are proud to have done with Maxly. To teach her it’s always better to give than receive and spread love, including the less fortunate, especially during the holidays.
Maxly, I’m glad on this day not only were you so happy but you were able to make others so happy and loved too 🖤 love you baby girl and am pumped to continue this tradition with you each year!
(P.S. I am not posting this to get praise or likes, I’m sharing it to perhaps give the idea to someone else so even more puppies and kitties will get extra goodies and love in the future!)
